repress! their initial 3 part series from a few years back became buy-on-sight homages to the raw, decadent & formative birth of club music. and while the first series concentrated on the darker, more electronic & mind bending side of nightlife, the x series works up an altogether more strobe-lit and full-tilt take on the glorious disco supernova from whence we all came.
limited repress. regal strikes back on involve records with a brand new collaboration, this time with acid head milton bradley a.k.a. alien rain. the record is another piece of the puzzle, where the label boss continues his exploration of the techno universe with the help of artists that inspire him. the 24th release of involve records sees regal and bradley go deep delivering hypnotic 303 basslines and hammering percussions that point directly to the dancefloor, with chopped vocals adding tension to each cut. >acid affair< combines the best of both producers giving birth to a renewed take on acid techno. the two-track ep looks back to the origins of the etiquette, without missing the freshness of both artists current sonic approach to club-focused music. one not to miss for quirky sound lovers.

the death to digital series comes to a (perhaps temporary) end with volume 5. and what a way to end, with four slamming tracks that maintain the original concept of diversity in style while staying true to the kniteforce ethos of, well diversity and style! sunny & deck hussy drop a traditional styles beakbeat piano anthem, while shadowplay brings something that is not quite everything. abyss shocks us all by making something a little happier than usual while retaining the heaviest of beats and bass, and idealz brings a rolling, thoughtful dnb tinges lick to close the series. big stuff.
